Carl A. Mycoff – Managing Director

Carl is the founder and President of Mycoff, Fry & Prouse LLC. He managed and completed searches for Presidents and Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Executive Vice Presidents, General Counsels, Vice Presidents, General Managers, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and other key level expert personnel. His clients include investor-owned utilities, public power organizations, rural cooperatives, independent system operators, reliability organizations, transmission companies, non-utility generators, energy marketers, railroads, coal mining concerns, consulting, and engineering firms. 

Prior to founding Mycoff & Associates in 1974, Carl worked at Gilbert/Commonwealth where he supervised the recruitment of personnel who designed and constructed nuclear, fossil, and hydroelectric generating facilities, electric transmission facilities, and management consultants who performed financial, rate, and planning studies.

Lanie Mycoff – Managing Director (lmycoff@mfpllc.us)

Lanie joined the firm in 1996 and became one of the company’s Managing Directors and Partners in 2007. During her tenure, Lanie has managed and completed searches for numerous President and Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Utility Directors and General Managers, as well as other senior executives, mid-management positions, and key utility personnel.  Her clients include public power organizations, rural electric cooperatives, generation & transmission cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, independent system operators, reliability organizations, transmission companies, consultants, and engineering firms.

Lanie’s prior experience includes serving as Marketing Manager for a restaurant franchise and a computer hardware company.

Kelly A. Fry – Executive Office Manager (kfry@mfpllc.us)

Kelly joined Mycoff Fry Partners in 1998 as Office Manager responsible for all office administration functions including executive assistant duties, human resources, and accounts payable and receivable. Prior to joining Mycoff & Associates, Kelly worked for a variety of firms, including Janus Funds as an Investment Services Representative and as an Executive Assistant in the real estate and investment businesses.

Patrick “Pat” Prouse – Search Consultant (pprouse@mfpllc.us)

Pat joined Mycoff Fry Partners at two different times during his career. His first tenure occurred in the early 2000’s and he re-joined the firm in 2012. Pat is a search consultant assisting in a variety of senior-level recruitments for utilities across the country.

Prior to joining Mycoff Fry Partners, Pat spent over twenty years in a variety of positions that included sport venue operations, athletic director, coaching, and media relations.

Joyce Gallo – Search Consultant (jgallo@mfpllc.us)

Joyce joined Mycoff Fry Partners in March of 2015. Joyce is a search consultant assisting in a variety of senior-level recruitments for utilities across the country.

Prior to joining Mycoff Fry Partners, Joyce spent over two years assisting the President of an executive search firm. Prior to beginning her recruiting career, Joyce performed for over 20 years in a Lead Paralegal and Office Manager Role with a law firm in Connecticut.
